Thanks to the neofascist Republicans and the neoliberal Democrats, interest in the Communist Party USA is on the rise. And why shouldn't it be? Capitalism has reached a stage of toxicity beyond what even Marx and Engels imagined.

The CPUSA does not exactly function as a political party in the United States. For instance, the last Presidential election in which members of the CPUSA ran was 1984. The "party" (such as it is) functions as a source of information and mutual support for those who know that something is rotten in our current political system.
