Ways to tell a Liberal from a Left Libertarian: Liberals wish to tell the rest of the world how to run their own affairs; Left Libertarians wish to see conditions prevail that will permit the rest of the world to run their own affairs as they see fit. Liberals tend to be knee-jerk imperialists who arrogate to themselves the "right" to use force to bend others to their will; Left Libertarians deny that any such right exists.
